CONRAD PRILLWITZ
M.D. candidate
The fastest progress in Healthcare and life sciences is occurring at the interface of previously distinct disciplines. Through the application of cutting edge methodologies developed in physics and computer science on medical issues, clinical imaging is a precursor on the path to holistic science. In my research, I’m trying to gain deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms of neuronal plasticity after hemispheric lesions using multimodal imaging. While focusing on the motor network in patients after neurosurgical intervention, the long term goal is to transfer this knowledge to a broader group of patients, thus contributing to the development of new treatments.
